Greetings:
Welcome to the Grand Opening of Steve's Palette. A website devoted to the
display of my artwork, from my teenage years though middle age. Art is
more than just an interest or hobby for me; It's a passion that I hope
to do
full-time, someday. Whether in retirement or at the end of my
working life. I like to refer to art as "Prozac-on-a-palette".
Currently, and for the past 15 years, I have been employed as a public school
teacher. To be more specific, I teach high school-aged children how to build
artistically pleasing and useful objects in wood. I also teach mechanical
and architectural drafting, with an emphasis on architecture. You will see
that influence in the subjects I choose to paint and draw.
I hope that my art gets YOUR creative juices flowing, and that you pick up
up a pencil and/or brush, soon. (Please don't say that you "can't draw
a straight line"). The truth is: I can't either. That's why I use a
straight edge. As soon as you try to draw, your blood pressure will drop
and your mood will improve.
If you care to drop me a line, for any reason at all, (including purchase
of a piece), I can be reached at: Steve's
e-mail address
I wish you well. I wish you personal peace, and serenity though art.
Steve (Stephen) Green
